The Experience:
The journey
begins in Lima with a warm airport welcome and a memorable dinner beside the ancient pyramid of Huaca Pucllana—an elegant introduction to Peru’s layered history. A guided city tour reveals Lima’s colonial heart, with the option to dive deeper into its world-renowned food scene through a culinary experience in Barranco.

From the coast, you fly to Cusco, where Inca foundations, Spanish architecture, lively markets, and panoramic viewpoints introduce you to the soul of the Andes. After time to acclimatize, you journey through the Sacred Valley, connecting with local artisans in Chinchero, exploring the striking salt pans of Maras, the ingenious terraces of Moray, and the majestic fortress of Ollantaytambo.

The highlight unfolds on the Short Inca Trail: a one-day hike through cloud forest and ancient ruins, culminating in your first dramatic view of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate. The following day, you return to the citadel for an extended guided visit, allowing time to truly understand its temples, terraces, and sacred spaces.

Your journey concludes in Cusco with a free day to relax or an optional excursion to Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain—a quieter, scenic alternative offering colorful peaks and sweeping Andean views—before a smooth airport transfer and farewell to Peru.

Accommodation

This is an adventure-focused trip, designed to keep us close to the experiences, nature, and activities that make Peru so special. For this reason, we’ll be staying in carefully selected 3-star hotels, chosen primarily for their excellent locations, allowing us to maximize our time exploring rather than commuting.

The hotels are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything we need for a good night’s rest after full days of discovery. Since most of our time will be spent out experiencing Peru, these accommodations offer the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and adventure.
